Legislative Intern (Volunteer)

The organization is seeking a Legislative Intern to support its mission of advocating for foreign assistance in Congress. This role involves tracking legislation, preparing briefing materials, and attending hearings to take detailed notes. Interns will also engage in outreach efforts, including phonebanking for endorsed candidates, and assist with logistics for events like Hill Day. Ideal candidates should possess strong research and writing skills, a keen interest in the legislative process, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. The internship can be completed remotely or in-person in Washington, D.C., and is unpaid.
