Legislative Land Use Planner

The organization is seeking a Legislative Land Use Planner to manage the review process for land development applications in a growing community near Washington, D.C. This role involves analyzing proposed projects for compliance with local policies, coordinating reviews with various departments, and providing recommendations to decision-makers during evening meetings. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in land development, advanced knowledge of zoning laws and urban design, and strong presentation skills. Familiarity with planning software and certifications such as AICP or PMP are preferred. This position offers a salary commensurate with experience and the option for remote work two days a week.
