Legislative Liaison

The organization seeks a Legislative Liaison to provide advanced consultative services within its HIV/STD Section. This role involves coordinating legislative assignments, including bill analyses and appropriations requests, while overseeing the rule-making process to implement state laws. The Liaison will work closely with the Operations Director and Unit Directors to ensure timely completion of assignments and compliance with legislative mandates. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of public health principles, the organization legislative process, and relevant laws, along with strong skills in strategic planning and bill tracking. This full-time position is based in Austin and offers telework eligibility.
