Job Description
Our client, a dynamic, mission-driven nonprofit in the social impact space, is seeking a Manager, Digital Fundraising and Donor Communications. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Manager will lead and execute digital fundraising strategy, steward donors at every stage of their journey, and bring the organization’s mission to life through compelling, data-informed communications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key annual fundraising campaigns (End-of-Year Giving, Peer-to-peer fundraising), while designing strategies to grow revenue via DAFs, crypto, and stock donations
- Manage all external fundraising platforms: Classy, Fundraise Up, Stripe, The Giving Block, FreeWill, Gratavid, and more
- Manage gift entry, tracking, and acknowledgments while streamlining database operations to ensure seamless coordination across fundraising, gift processing, and donor stewardship.
- Develop actionable metrics for individual giving, segment donor data, and reconcile gifts monthly to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial reporting.
- Lead donor engagement and marketing strategies through Virtuous CRM, including automation of donor journeys to drive stewardship and fundraising success
- Deepen donor loyalty with tailored communications for monthly, mid-level, and first-time donors
- Manage the organization’s communications calendar, lead marketing, and develop performance-driven strategies to support fundraising goals.
- Design, execute, and analyze e-communications (newsletters, e-blasts), and oversee development of the annual report to strengthen donor engagement and brand storytelling.
- Coordinate outreach, create marketing assets, and manage event registration pages and materials to ensure successful donor-facing campaigns and events.
- Set strategic direction for social media content highlighting donor impact and driving brand visibility, and maintain regular updates across digital platforms including the website.
- Track and manage budget with a growth mindset
- Maintain oversight of fundraising platform contracts and operational systems
Requirements:
- 3-5 yrs’ relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proficiency in donor CRM, preferably
- Proficiency with social media platforms
- Passion for social impact philanthropy
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree preferred
Compensation: $80,000 - 90,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
