Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Four years of professional administrative and managerial experience in analyzing, drafting and/or the recommendation of legislation or public policy is required.

This is an advanced management position overseeing the coordination of legislation for the Miami-Dade County Internal Services Department. This position is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and monitoring legislation; managing ISD’s agenda process; coordinating with ISD senior management, County departments, the County Attorney’s Office, and elected officials on agenda items; providing analysis on policy matters; and supervising the work of legislative support staff.

- Depending on the health plan selected you will receive annual flex dollars (either $999.96 or $1,129.96), which are contributed toward your benefits.
- Miami-Dade County provides retirement benefits for eligible employees through the Florida Retirement System (FRS). Enrollment is automatic for full-time employees. As an FRS member, you must contribute 3% of your salary towards your retirement benefit, on a pre-tax basis (contributions are taken from your gross salary before Federal Withholding taxes are calculated). Miami-Dade County also contributes towards your retirement based on the employee classification.
