REPORTS TO: Individual Giving and Special Events Director
Mission: Angel Foundation™ offers relief to adults with cancer and their loved ones
through financial assistance, education, and emotional support.
Salary: $50,000 per year

Role Description: The Manager of Community Engagement is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with community organizations to achieve mutually beneficial goals, typically including revenue generation, increased visibility, and strategic alignment. This role involves identifying potential partners, negotiating agreements, building relationships, and ensuring partnerships deliver measurable value. Responsible for sponsorships, third-party, and workplace giving revenue. The Manager will serve as a liaison for existing partners, as well as pursuing new client opportunities. Must be able to demonstrate internal team leadership while employing an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and results-oriented approach to lead and drive external partnerships that advance Angel Foundation’s™ brand, corporate involvement, cultivation, and stewardship.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record for building partnerships for a nonprofit organization, particularly in selling intangible programs and services, along with the ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
- BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or Non-profit experience preferred.
- Results-oriented, closer, strategic thinker, highly responsive, proactive, timely, accurate and thorough in follow through.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with 3+ years’ experience in constituent management.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including large and small group presentations, group facilitation, and training. Skills in written communications include clear and concise narrative reports, evaluations, and similar narrative pieces.
- Exceptional persuasive writing skills and proven record of accomplishment in successful sponsorship proposals and grant submissions to achieve revenue goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in relationship management and the ability to increase a donor or client base.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of individuals with a high degree of professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and client satisfaction
- Proven ability to manage multiple constituents on the fundraising continuum simultaneously.
- Must be able to anticipate client needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines.
Work environment:
*Physical requirements: Normal office environment, ability to sit, stand and
operate office equipment. Ability to lift 50 lbs. (if applicable).
*Travel requirements: Some local travel is required.
*Other: Willing to work overtime when business demands necessitate additional
coverage and output.
