Job Description

Organization Overview

Founded by immigrant laborers in 1903, the Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA) is a half-million strong progressive union that primarily represents construction workers and public employees.  We negotiate collective bargaining agreements that provide family-supporting pay, benefits and career opportunities for members, and we fight for the dignity and rights of all workers.

LIUNA Minnesota and North Dakota represents more than 13,000 skilled construction laborers and public employees, and is at the forefront of local efforts to raise standards, halt abuses, and promote equity in the construction industry in the Upper Midwest. Over the past decade, we have helped to lead campaigns to create high-quality clean energy jobs, fund vital public infrastructure projects, improve construction safety practices, and end exploitation of immigrant construction workers.
