Job Title: Movement Intern

Location: Indianapolis and/or Remote

Commitment: Rolling start; flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of 6–10 hours per week 

Class Credit: Available upon request


About the Campaign

George Hornedo is a next-generation Democratic candidate running for Congress in Indiana’s 7th District. Our campaign is people-powered, results-driven, and unapologetically focused on rebuilding Democratic strength at every level starting from the ground up. This isn’t a typical internship. You won’t be fetching coffee. You’ll be helping to build a movement.


What You’ll Do

Interns will work closely with campaign leadership to support high-impact operations across field, digital, fundraising, and communications. Specific responsibilities may include:


  • Assisting with visibility efforts (yard signs, lit drops, event prep)
  • Helping manage volunteer pipelines and follow-ups
  • Tracking metrics and engagement data
  • Amplifying social media posts and digital narratives
  • Participating in campaign strategy sessions

  • Team players who believe in rebuilding the Democratic Party from the ground up
  • Familiarity with Indiana politics is great, but not required
