Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is seeking a Legislative Correspondent (LC) to join his DC office’s national security team. The LC’s responsibilities include research, writing, managing relevant constituent correspondence, legislative drafting, policy development, and representing the Senator in meetings with constituents and other stakeholders. Candidates should excel in a team setting and possess strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication, and multi-tasking skills. The LC will work closely with and be mentored by experienced Legislative Assistants and the National Security Advisor. The most qualified candidates will have prior experience working on national security issues to include foreign policy, defense/military, and veterans issues.
