**Overview:**
As the Office Administrator at our Washington, DC-based lobbying firm, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, and providing support to our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Duties:**
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for firm co-founders.
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and equipped.
- Coordinate with building management for maintenance requests, security, and other facility-related issues.
- Organize and maintain office filing systems.
- Plan and execute office events, such as staff meetings, team-building activities, and client meetings.
- Assist with new employee onboarding, including preparing paperwork, coordinating orientations, and setting up workstations.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between staff members and external vendors, clients, and visitors.
- Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by senior management.
- Support regulatory compliance and filing, including Lobby Disclosure Act submissions.
- Continuously look for ways to improve office efficiency and streamline processes.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
