The Operations & Facilities Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations, facilities management, and event coordination functions of a fast-paced Government Affairs office. This position helps ensure a professional, organized, and efficient workplace by managing office logistics, coordinating vendors, supporting facility maintenance, and assisting with onsite and offsite events.

How You Will Contribute 

  • Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, preventative upkeep, and facility service requests. 
  • Serve as a key point of contact for building management, vendors, and service providers. 
  • Manage office supplies, equipment inventory, and workplace resources to ensure operational readiness. 
  • Support office moves, workspace configurations, seating assignments, and onboarding logistics. 
  • Partner with IT and security teams to facilitate workspace setup, badge access, and employee support. 
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming office environment for employees and guests. 
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, scheduling, and service delivery. 
  • Track operational requests and help resolve facility or workplace issues in a timely manner. 
  • Support process improvements that enhance office efficiency and employee experience. 
  • Provide administrative and logistical support across office operations initiatives. 
  • Support the planning and execution of internal meetings, external events, briefings, and stakeholder gatherings. 
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue preparation, catering, audiovisual needs, room setup, materials, and vendor management. 
  • Provide day-of-event support, including event setup, attendee check-in, troubleshooting, and breakdown. 
  • Maintain event inventory, supplies, and materials to support successful event execution. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless event experience. 

What You Will Bring 

  • 1–3 years of experience in office operations, facilities coordination, workplace services, administrative support, event planning, or hospitality management.  
  • A deep belief in people-empowering, bottom-up, public policy solutions that limit the coercive nature of government and empower individuals to pursue their American Dream. 
  • A high degree of professionalism and business acumen needed to interact with senior legislative staff and policy makers, advocacy professionals, and thought leaders.  
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new workplace management, facilities, and event coordination systems.  
  • Experience supporting office operations, facilities management, workplace services, corporate events, or administrative functions.  
  • Familiarity with vendor management, office administration, and workplace operations within a professional office, nonprofit, advocacy, government affairs, or corporate environment. 
  • Physical Requirements: This role regularly supports onsite meetings and events and requires the ability to lift and carry event materials and supplies up to 35 pounds, assist with room setup and breakdown, and stand or walk for extended periods during event execution. For this role, the anticipated pay range is $65,000-85,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization.
