Job Description
The NRSC Research Department seeks a full-time Opposition Research Analyst for the 2026 election cycle in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting primary source opposition research, including Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
- Compiling new and old content into presentable formats from a variety of sources, including public disclosures, public records, databases, interviews, public statements, and news appearances.
- Working across departments to finalize usable research content.
- Monitoring a portfolio of states’ politics, policies, and election updates and its implications on federal elections.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will be quick to adapt, creative, suited for a fast-paced work environment, able to manage timelines, and eager to learn. Candidates should also have a keen attention to detail, strong writing skills, and a solid understanding of political campaigns and election politics.
Salary:
Salary compensation is commensurate with experience.
