Job Description
Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) seeks an Outreach Director to manage his outreach efforts across the state. This person will serve as a member of the office’s senior leadership team, reporting to the State Director, and will be based in the Senator’s Atlanta office. Primary responsibilities include ensuring a cohesive strategy and message for all outreach efforts, managing a growing staff working in multiple locations, reporting to the Senator regarding important activity and trends in state, and serving as the Senator’s representative to various constituent groups and stakeholders. Qualified applicants will be experienced managers with strong Georgia ties and relationships across the state. Previous experience in community outreach, government, or policy is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a deep commitment to public service. The starting annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 with benefits.
