Make a difference for girls of today through logistically supporting Girl Scouts Leadership Experience (GSLE) programs!
GSLE provides opportunities for girls to grow in confidence, build useful life skills, and make a difference in their communities. Girl Scouts San Diego is seeking a detail oriented Part-time Administrative Assistant to contribute to the successful operations of GSLE programs through data retention, informative reporting, and maintaining accurate databases.
Your Impact
- Support Girl Scouts who are seeking their Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards through accurate record management.
- Help our After-School Clubs operate smoothly by processing registrations and maintaining membership information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Ensure smooth events and programs by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and assisting with event setup.
To be a great fit for this role, you must have:
- High school diploma/GED; additional coursework or a degree in business administration preferred.
- 1-3 years administrative experience in a nonprofit or youth-serving setting; prior experience with Girl Scouts preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems and event/registration management platforms.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, as well as high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to adapt effectively to working with diverse populations; bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
This part-time position will be scheduled roughly 20 hours per week, paid at a rate of $19.00 - $21.00 hourly.
