Policy Director
The California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance (CCEEB) seeks a Policy Director to help develop CCEEB’s strategic and policy priorities, implement regulatory policy initiatives, and advocate directly at the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and other California environmental agencies on behalf of our members.
The Director will have experience working on environmental policy issues in California, including with CARB. The Director will lead one or more of CCEEB’s issue area projects, with responsibility for project management and deliverables. The Director will work in close coordination with other project teams, CCEEB legislative advocates, and our members for best outcomes. Additionally, the Director will have experience working with coalitions and facilitating consensus, including leading technical discussions among policy experts with different and at times competing interests.
This position requires excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and analytical skills.

This is a hybrid position and will require working out of our Sacramento office three days a week.
