The organization seeks a Policy Specialist to join its Institutional the organization and Civil Liberties Team in Austin, the organization. This role involves advocating for the organization of individuals with disabilities, particularly those in institutional settings or facing legal challenges. Key responsibilities include conducting policy research, providing training and technical assistance, and engaging with stakeholders to promote policy changes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of relevant public policy experience, with strong communication and public speaking skills. A commitment to improving the lives of persons with disabilities is essential.
