Long for Senate 2026 is dedicated to electing Dr. Pamela Denise Long to represent the State of Illinois in the U.S. Senate during the 2026 election. This history-making campaign is focused on promoting policies that prioritize community well-being, citizen equity, and political accountability. Joining the campaign provides an opportunity to contribute to meaningful change on a statewide and national level. Volunteers will be an essential part of shaping and supporting the campaign's efforts for a successful electoral Win on March 17, 2026.


Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid role for Political Campaign Volunteers based in Illinois, with opportunities to perform some responsibilities remotely. Volunteers will assist with organizing and managing campaign activities, including voter outreach, event planning, and canvassing. Responsibilities also include supporting communication strategies, coordinating grassroots initiatives, and aiding project management efforts to ensure the campaign's goals are met effectively. Training and guidance will be provided to help volunteers succeed in these initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in Campaign Management and Campaign operations
  • Strong written and verbal Communication skills
  • Executing on project plans and supervisor’s directions.
  • Organizational and Project Management skills
  • Analytical Skills to support data-driven decisions and strategies
  • Passion for civic engagement and understanding of political processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently in a hybrid work environment
  • Prior experience in campaigns or political volunteering is a plus
  • Commitment to upholding the campaign's values and mission
