Summary
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our dedicated team in the United States. This vital role involves overseeing various community programs that support children's development and well-being. Based in the US, the Program Coordinator will contribute to our mission of empowering children through compassionate and effective services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of multiple child-focused programs.
- Develop and implement program plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with participants, families, and community partners.
- Supervise staff and volunteers to ensure program quality.
- Maintain administrative records and prepare reports.
- Identify community resources for Participants.
- Identify online educative and fun activities.
- Develop weekly lesson Plans in accordance with Participants Treatment plan Goals using available resources.
- Distribute a monthly calendar of activities to parents.
- Distribute Tl lesson Plans to Counselors via email weekly.
- Ensure all lesson plans are provided on the server for group activities via Smartboards.
- Site Maintenance & Monitoring of Materials
- Maintain Material Tracking Sheet for all Tl program materials (such as books, board games etc).
- Ensure that Tl staff sign in and out for Tl materials.
- Ensure that Tl staff keep materials safe.
- Staff Orientation/Training On Participants' Treatment Plan
- Obtain a briefing from Case Managers regarding each participant's Treatment Plan.
- Provide Training to Tl Counselors.
- Explain the participant's schedule and how to document on contact logs.
- Tl Treatment Plan Implementation Training.
- Behavior Plan training and documentation on the ABC sheet.
- Obtain Training sign off from Tl Technician.
- New Client Orientation/Transition
- Work with Tl Logistics and Planning to identify the right match of Tl Counselor/Group for new client.
- Supervision Of TI Staff
- Monthly review of Tl Contact Logs.
- Provide on the floor observation and direct training feedback to Tl Counselors.
- Monitor staff completion of daily parent communication Sheet.
- Ongoing correspondence with Tl Technician regarding issues with implementing Tl Treatment Plan.
- Issue a warning as appropriate.
- Organize and coordinate periodic TI staff meetings & trainings.
- Incident Management
- Ensure that all reported incident is properly document and submitted to Program Coordinator/Case Manager/ Managing Director.
- Email Parents immediately when there is an unusual occurrence with participant.
- Ensure that a copy of Unusual Occurrence report is inserted in Participant's book bag.
- Fire Drills
- Plan and arranging quarterly fire drill dates.
- Inform Counselors of impending fire drills.
- Prepare with Counselors tasks needed prior to fire drill.
- Ensure fire drill proceeds safely.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of fire drills.
- Ensure the client's files are in order.
- Ensure that the client's emergency information is up to date and readily available and accessible to DSP.
- Fleet & Transportation Services Management
- Ensure DSP driving company's vehicles are properly trained, has a copy of current driver's license on file.
- Ensure DSP follows transportation safety protocols.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Ensure DSP follows safety protocols at all times while in the TI center. Premises and in the company of the client.
- Courteous and helpful to families, Service Coordinators, etc.
- Good working relationship with all Case Managers & colleagues.
- Good interpersonal relationship with DSP & the administrative team.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a positive environment that reflects the organization's biblical values.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in program management or coordination within a non-profit setting.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Experience working with children, including those with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles is a plus.
- Budgeting experience is preferred.
- Passion for serving children and supporting community development.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
