 This position is hybrid and will be onsite at least 3 days per week at the California Endowment Building.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

We are looking for a talented team player who is a self-starter with proven capacity building experience in communities across Southern California. The ideal candidate is flexible, willing to adapt and change as we go. CNM is committed to hiring a Project Coordinator who uplifts core values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.

The Project Coordinator, Training & Events, assists in the production of virtual, in-person, and hybrid training and events. This includes training classes, interactive education workshops, webinar presentations, and an annual conference. CNM currently uses Zoom and Microsoft Teams for virtual platforms, and we are transitioning from an all virtual training program to a mix of virtual and in-person trainings.

The Project Coordinator, Training & Events plays a key role in the scheduling and production of a wide range of events and provides day-of logistical support. The Project Coordinator, Training & Events:

  • collaborates internally to schedule events and finalize details,
  • works with a variety of internal and external partners to prepare and implement events,
  • helps ensure a positive experience and recommends improvements to the planning process, and,
  • tracks, measures, and reports on training & event metrics.

The following are key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Assists client services projects in training program planning, scheduling, and program evaluation, and reviews for quality control.
  2. Coordinates logistics for training, including certificate programs, seminars, signature events, custom trainings, the annual conference, and various other projects. 
  3. Tracks, manages, and reports registration program progress against goals.
  4. Produces and provides technical support to virtual training classes.
  5. Coordinates with instructors regarding CNM branding, proofing training materials, and event logistics, and process vendor, catering, and instructor invoices.
  6. Assists with writing training & event descriptions, and reviews proposals.
  7. Coordinates design and reporting utilizing Salesforce and Eventbrite.
  8. Assists and supports the development of training material, as needed.
  9. Assists with requests for transcribing, printing, and packet assembly for training and other projects.
  10. Other duties, as needed

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Experience with managing and providing technical assistance with virtual and in-person training and events and shareable documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups and being on camera for short periods of time in a moderator/support capacity.
  • Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to strengthen relationships through excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects and responsibilities at the same time.
  • Strong attention to detail, solution-oriented, and possesses a positive attitude.
  • Ability to take initiative, and work both independently and within a group.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree in a business-related field, or 3 years of related experience and/or training combined
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project/training coordination, event planning, nonprofit services, client services, and/or administrative assistance.
  • Computer expertise in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Salesforce, Eventbrite, and Google Documents, a plus.
  • High degree of ethics and integrity
  • Bilingual/Spanish preferred

SALARY RANGE:

  • Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hybrid
  • $45,000 - $48,000 Annually, dependent upon experience
  • Benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and long-term D&D insurance, 403(b), and underground parking.
