Job Description
Senator Casey seeks a Regional Director for his Pittsburgh office to oversee regional outreach in southwest Pennsylvania under the direction of the Outreach Director and State Director. This individual will manage the smooth operation of the Pittsburgh office and the work of its staff; act as the Senator's liaison to government, community and constituent groups and civic leaders; monitor local developments, opinions and concerns in the region; represent the Senator at community events; as well as other duties assigned. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communications skills, a demonstrated capability to generate new ideas, past management experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time. Qualified applicants will have several years of experience in government and/or community outreach, media relations, solid ties to Pittsburgh and/or southwestern Pennsylvania, and a strong knowledge of local issues, geography and demographics.
