Regional Outreach Director

The Office of U.S. Senator Angela D. Alsobrooks seeks a Regional Outreach Director to serve as a liaison with local governments, constituents, industry groups and leaders in Montgomery, Howard and Anne Arundel counties. Responsibilities include attending local events; advising the Senator on key community developments and concerns; managing a regional coordinator and jointly overseeing local office operations.

Additional responsibilities include drafting briefings, regional reports, and correspondence; planning outreach activities; meeting with community leaders; coordinating with Senator Alsobrooks’ policy and communications teams; communicating on behalf of the Senator; and performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate has experience working in Montgomery, Howard and Anne Arundel counties; is a team player, proactive, an excellent listener, effective communicator; and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment. This position is based in our Rockville office.
