Republican U.S. Senator is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Scheduler to manage the Senator’s daily and long-term calendar in the Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong administrative and communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the Senator’s daily and long-term calendar, including meetings, briefings, travel, and events in both D.C. and the home state.
  • Prioritize and evaluate all incoming scheduling requests in coordination with the Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, Communications Director, and State Director.
  • Work closely with legislative, communications, and state teams to ensure alignment of priorities and messaging.
  • Coordinate logistics for official travel, including flights, lodging, transportation, and event prep.
  • Draft and maintain daily and weekly itineraries for the Senator.
  • Coordinate daily logistics to/from the Senator’s meetings on and off the Hill.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all scheduling matters with outside stakeholders, including constituents, elected officials, federal agencies, and advocacy groups.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Capitol Hill scheduling experience strongly preferred.
  • Detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude under pressure.
  • Commitment to conservative principles.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends as determined by the Senate schedule.
