Job Description
Senator Mark R. Warner has an opening for a Scheduler. This position will manage all aspects of the scheduling and executive operation and serve as the Senator’s confidential assistant. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: planning the Senator’s daily and long-term schedule; briefing the Senator on scheduling activities; ensuring the Senator is properly prepared and staffed; and executing the Senator’s daily schedule, personal calls and correspondence. This job requires working long hours and being available by phone on weekends. The ideal candidate uses exceptional judgement, remains calm under pressure, excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong organization and communication skills. This is not an entry-level job; at least two years of professional experience are required. Virginia ties are encouraged. Previous administrative, executive support, advance, and/or operations experience preferred.
