Summary
This position is located in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, Office of the Coordinator for Afghan Relocation Efforts (CARE). The incumbent serves as a Senior Coordinator with responsibility for developing, implementing, overseeing, and assessing short- and long-term programs, plans, procedures, and policies related to the efficient, safe, and secure location of individuals under Enduring Welcome (EW).
Duties
Collaborates and coordinates with the interagency, Department bureaus/offices, and foreign government officials to implement relocation and resettlement plans and objectives under Enduring Welcome to resettle Afghan allies to the United States.
Identifies, develops, and establishes metrics and performance indicators to measure and evaluate performance against CARE-related operational and performance goals.
Develops, implements, and assesses short- and long-range plans, procedures, and policies relating to the relocation of eligible individuals from Afghanistan.
Monitors and analyzes developing political situations to assess the effectiveness of relocation activities of vulnerable populations out of a high-risk country.
Liaises with key stakeholders involved in policy planning, coordination, implementation, and operations
