Job Description
The Senate Committee on Finance Minority office (Ranking Member Wyden) is seeking a full-time intern, fellow, or law clerk to assist the Committee’s tax team for the Spring of 2026. Interns, fellows, and law clerks routinely assist with legislative research projects, hearings, and other substantive assignments and administrative tasks. Previous interns have worked on a variety of tax policy issues; if selected, the office will work with you to find projects that best align with your interests.
Ideal candidates would be graduate or law students with a demonstrated interest in tax policy and strong written and oral communication skills. This position will start in January 2026. Although neither a salary nor expenses can be paid, often students are able to receive college credit for participating in the program.
Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply. The Office is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, age, uniformed service, genetic information, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. To apply, e-mail a brief cover letter and resume.
