Job Description
The organization seeks two motivated and detail-oriented legal policy externs for the Spring 2027 semester, focusing on the organization. Externs will engage in legislative tracking, conduct legal and factual research, and assist in developing advocacy strategies. Responsibilities include drafting memos, participating in meetings with attorneys and coalition partners, and contributing to policy advocacy efforts. Ideal candidates are second or third-year law students with strong legal research and writing skills, a commitment to the organization health and justice, and the ability to collaborate effectively. This position can be remote or based in New York City or Washington, D.C.
