Spring Internship Opportunities in The Office of Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez offers internships in both her Washington D.C. and District offices. Our goal is to provide each intern with a meaningful experience that will enhance their understanding of Congress. We take pride in shepherding the next generation of leaders, and greatly appreciate their hard work and dedication to serving constituents in the district.
Our office is currently seeking Spring interns for our NY-14 District Office. Intern responsibilities may include:
- Answering phones
- Sorting mail
- Researching legislation
- Attending briefings and hearings
- Assisting staff with public events
- Assisting with constituent casework
- Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to specialize in either legislative or communications related assignments depending on their interests.
Interns are able to work on either a part-time or full-time basis. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the deadline for the Spring 2026 internship is January 16th at 12 p.m. ET.
