The Office of Congressman Christian Menefee (TX-18) is excited to invite applications for a Spring Internship in our Washington, D.C. office. This is a unique chance to contribute to meaningful work in a high-energy, dynamic environment, and to make a real impact on the Congressman’s legislative and communications efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Helping draft press releases, talking points, statements, and correspondence to constituents
- Supporting social media, digital communications, and earned media outreach
- Assisting with research on key policy issues and current events
- Monitoring media coverage and assisting with rapid response communications
- Providing logistical support to senior staff across the office
We’re looking for someone with strong writing and organizational skills, an interest in public service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. While prior experience in government or political communications is helpful, it’s not required. What matters most is your passion, your commitment, and your desire to learn and grow.
