Job Description
The Office of Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) is seeking a Spring Press Intern. Responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring the news, maintaining reporter lists, drafting social media copy, answering press calls, writing press releases, and aiding in any other day-to-day task as needed. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of discretion and organization, pay close attention to detail, and have great interest in learning about media and politics. Candidates applying to this position should have a weekly availability of 24-40 hours.
