Job Description
Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth seeks a Staff Assistant for her Washington, DC office. Core responsibilities include managing the front office, coordinating tour and flag requests, overseeing the DC intern program, and occasionally driving the member in and around DC. Other duties may include providing logistical support for official events, taking meetings for legislative staff, occasionally helping out with district events, and other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, effective at time management, and work well in a fast-paced freshman office. The position requires a flexible schedule and occasional extended hours in the office. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive in DC. Access to a personal car is preferred.
