Rep. Stephen F. Lynch (MA-08) seeks a full-time Staff Assistant to join his Washington, D.C. office. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the front office, greeting visitors, and answering phone inquiries;
  • Responding to and scheduling constituent tour requests;
  • Hiring, training, and overseeing the D.C. internship program;
  • Sorting and tracking incoming correspondence;
  • Helping draft constituent correspondence;
  • Providing research and administrative support to legislative staff; and other duties as assigned. 

Ideal candidates will possess excellent writing, organizational, and time-management skills. They will also have strong telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Massachusetts ties are preferred but not required.
