Job Description
The organization is seeking a State Government and Industry Affairs Lead for the Eastern U.S. Region to develop and oversee advocacy strategies that protect and promote its business interests. This role involves building relationships with elected officials and stakeholders, providing counsel to senior leadership, and engaging with government officials on policy issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in government affairs or policy advocacy, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex governmental processes. A background in agriculture is preferred, and the position requires travel of less than 60%.
