Summer 2026 Advocacy and Government Relations Intern

The organization is seeking a Summer 2026 Advocacy and Government Relations Intern to support its mission of ending childhood hunger in America. This role involves conducting research on legislative priorities, drafting advocacy materials, and assisting in the management of stakeholder relationships. The intern will collaborate with the Advocacy and Government Relations team and participate in strategy sessions while also completing a capstone project. Ideal candidates are college juniors or seniors with experience in political campaigns or public policy, strong research and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. The position is based in Washington, DC, and requires a commitment of 20-30 hours per week.
