Job Description
The organization is seeking a Summer Legal Policy Associate to support its U.S. Policy and Advocacy Team in advancing the organization. This full-time internship, lasting up to 10 weeks, will involve legislative tracking, legal analysis, and research on state and federal laws. The associate will have the opportunity to draft memos, participate in meetings with attorneys and coalition partners, and contribute to strategic advocacy efforts. Candidates should have completed at least two years of law school, possess strong legal research and writing skills, and demonstrate a commitment to the organization health and justice. The position is based in New York City or Washington, D.C., with a hybrid work model.
