About Cooley Public Strategies
Cooley Public Strategies is a public affairs firm based in Nashville with an office in Washington, D.C., and outposts in 38 states. CPS provides C-level strategic public policy consulting, community engagement, research and media relations to some of the nation’s top companies and non-profits.
As a member of a small team, the intern will be actively engaged in all of the firm’s public affairs activities, including grassroots/grasstops outreach, strategy development, writing, consulting, and media relations.
Ideal Applicants For The Position Will Possess
Strong organizational and writing skills are important.
Some political or public relations experience is beneficial but not required.
Preference given to full-time candidates but are willing to consider part-time students as well.
Position is open to all undergraduate students and new graduates.
Timing
The position lasts 10-12 weeks, concurrent with the semester.

Location
This is an in-person internship located in the Brentwood suburb of Nashville. All candidates must be able to locate in Nashville for the summer to be considered.
