About Us

🌍 The Israeli Economic Mission in Houston is part of a global network of 55 offices directed by the Ministry of Economy & Industry. From our base in Houston, we cover 10 states across the South and Midwest, promoting bilateral trade and investment between Israel and the U.S. Our work bridges governments, Fortune 500 companies, startups, and investors — creating real impact.


What You’ll Do

As Trade Officer, you’ll work closely with the Israeli Consul for Economic Affairs and a dynamic team to:

  • Research & Analysis: Track industry trends, analyze markets, scout cutting-edge technologies.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Build strong relationships with leading companies, government agencies, investors, and startups.
  • Business Development: Support Israeli companies entering and expanding in the U.S. market, while identifying partnership opportunities.
  • Events & Delegations: Organize trade delegations, conferences, and roadshows in the U.S. and Israel.
  • Operations & Communications: Manage projects, budgets, logistics, and communications while showcasing Israeli innovation across platforms.

This is a fast-paced, international environment where no two days are alike — you’ll constantly learn, adapt, and grow.


What We’re Looking For

  • U.S. citizenship required (non dual-citizenship).
  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited university required.
  • Exceptional English writing and communication skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally.

Bonus: 2+ years of relevant work experience, including: international business, consulting, trade, government relations, familiarity with key industries in the U.S. and/or with Israel’s innovation ecosystem.
