Summary
The position is located in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Office of Services and Investment, Executive Office of the President, responsible for the execution of trade agreements of the U.S. including the coordination of all aspects of trade policy within the U.S. government.
Duties
As a Policy Analyst, GS-301-14/15, in the Office of Services and Investment, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Serve as a liaison with professionals in the agency and U. S. Trade Representative and in other Federal agencies in preparing work for higher level interagency committees.
Represent the Office of the U. S. Trade Representative at seminars and conferences.
Participate in U. S. delegation to international trade negotiations and conferences.
Assist in the preparation of Congressional testimony.
Respond to controlled correspondences, briefing materials, summary statements and speeches for the U. S. Trade Representative and the Deputy U. S. Trade Representative on major issues related to assigned unit/office.
