Job Description
Overview
Lifting Hands International (LHI) is a humanitarian organization that centers the needs, voices, and priorities of people impacted by war and disaster to create high-impact, community-led solutions. We work in solidarity with refugees and displaced people, because we trust in their ability to lead their own recovery and shape their own future. Our evidence-based initiatives empower people to survive, heal, thrive, rebuild, and resettle. We also seek to unite and inspire a global community of advocates and NGOs to strengthen long-term, international support for displaced people. At LHI, we don’t offer handouts—we offer a hand up. Our work is rooted in a deep understanding and respect for each individual and community’s context and potential. The LHI Humanitarian Aid Warehouse in American Fork, Utah, is a vibrant space where dedicated volunteers and staff work tirelessly to prepare international shipments of donated critical relief supplies around the world, as well as support and mentor refugee families resettling in Utah. This isn’t an ordinary warehouse, it’s a community of care where people are united by the spirit of humanitarianism. As the primary fundraiser at the warehouse, the person in this position will convert this spirit of volunteerism into donors for LHI. As a privately funded organization, we rely on small and individual donors (not churches or governments) to do this valuable work. Help us build a culture of financial giving through our pool of Utah volunteers.
