About WildSeed Society
WildSeed Society seeks to build portals to a future where we all get free by supporting social movements at the intersection of Spiritual Liberation, Social Transformation and Economic Revolution. Our mission is to help us get free from capitalism and extractive systems rooted in domination. To do that, we are building refuges from the current exploitative world, cultivating a spiritual community, and prototyping innovative cooperative structures so we can all get our needs met with dignity and joy.
We are a group of neurodivergent people attempting to bring our indigenous wisdom and legacy of resistance into the modern world by centering caring relationships, big ideas, and joy. We currently exist as an ecology of separate organizations that are in alignment with our spiritual and social principles. Ideal candidates will share our core values, be engaged in an anti-capitalist, liberatory and/or spiritual practice, and feel aligned with our mission and work.
The WildSeed Society organizes itself and the labor of its members very intentionally and in ways that are likely unfamiliar for many people. Wildseed Staff don’t have bosses or supervisors. Instead each staff member is accountable to their team through regular check ins, work planning sessions and weekly reports. While we hire folks with a particular set of roles and responsibilities in mind, after a probationary period staff are able to negotiate changes in their role and responsibility with their team as they learn more about our organization and explore how they can best contribute.
Before applying please take a second to read through the WildSeed Way to ensure that our culture feels like a good fit for you at this moment.
