Job Description
The organization seeks a Vice President of Advocacy to lead its efforts in promoting the organization and the organization through strategic engagement with policymakers at the federal, state, and local levels. This role involves developing and executing advocacy work plans across various key issues, managing a team of five, and engaging in direct lobbying activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in federal lobbying and advocacy, preferably within a nonprofit context, along with strong strategic management and coalition-building skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Juris Doctorate preferred, and the position offers a target salary range of $213,321 to $266,145.
