Our team consists of experienced professionals ranging from the highest level of national politics, including six presidential campaigns, to grassroots advocacy work and critical state and local races. We are looking for a Vice President of Marketing and Growth to lead and implement our marketing and business growth strategy. As the head of marketing and business growth, you will be responsible for advancing the firm's growth strategy in key markets and building an integrated marketing strategy for the firm to communicate our employee and client value proposition. You will be a key member of the Arc leadership team and work across the firm to bring together senior leaders to demonstrate the individual and collective strengths of team Arc. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will be an integral leader for Arc Initiatives, leading the marketing for the firm and supporting firm business development across teams 
• You will be responsible for leading the firm marketing portfolio, including developing strategy, managing content creation, and driving engagement to build Arc’s brand and presence in DC and key markets 
• You will work to Identify speaking, appearance, and awards opportunities for Arc staff and run the submission process
• You will build a strategy and support owned content for thought leadership and service marketing 
• You will work alongside Arc leadership on external-facing brand materials, including website development and marketing collateral 
• You will work closely with Arc client teams to communicate their impact and build client case studies 
• You will run Internal employee marketing to define and drive Arc’s value proposition to current and prospective staff
• You will be responsible for managing and running Arc-branded client and thought leadership events 
• You will support business development by identifying and tracking the RFP submission process and supporting the collateral and presentation of business proposals, including design, service language, and case studies. 
• You will be a member of the Arc senior management team, where you will contribute to the firm’s business development and professional growth 

Qualifications

• You have 8+ years of experience working in marketing and business development strategy that reflects an increase in management responsibilities and leadership capacity
• You bring insights and expertise developed from experience working in marketing and growth at a similar public affairs or PR agency or industry-adjacent entity such as a nonprofit advocacy organization.  
• You are passionate about progressive causes and campaigns 
• You demonstrate result-oriented project management abilities, strong industry knowledge, judgment, and leadership 
• You possess a strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with external stakeholders 
• You demonstrate flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity in a fast-paced work environment
• You have the ability to direct and coordinate multiple projects and multiple and diverse partner groups in a collaborative way

The Details

• Salary Range: $120k+
• Health benefits, including dental and vision 
• Eligibility for 401k benefits with up to 4% matching contributions 
• Up to $150 cell phone reimbursement 
• Commuter and Telework Benefits
• This position is based in Washington, DC, with a hybrid work-from-home and office schedule.
