War Studies Program


  • Eligibility: Graduating seniors (2026), rising seniors (2027), and exceptional rising juniors (2028)
  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Duration: 2-week program, Late July–Early August
  • Stipend: Stipend of $1,500 in addition to housing, meals, and subsidized transportation
  • Deadline: 01/20/26 (Early) | 02/24/26 (Final)


War Studies, run by the Institute for the Study of War, aim to educate undergraduate students about the theory, practice, organization, and control of war and military forces. Over the course of the program, students will learn from and interact with distinguished senior leaders in the national security and military communities.
