Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) seeks a Legislative Correspondent to handle constituent correspondence and policy support for energy, environment, climate, agriculture, and other related issues. This individual will be responsible for drafting and responding to all constituent correspondence in their assigned issue areas and providing research, administrative, and policy support as needed to the legislative team. The ideal candidate will have superb oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex policy issues into easily understandable language. Successful applicants will be extremely organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Relevant experience and background in pertinent policy areas preferred. Georgia ties a plus. The starting annual salary for this position is $50,000 with eligibility for standard Senate benefits.
