As our new Program Coordinator, you will work closely with our overseas partners, their applicants, and their U.S. host employers, educating them about the program and visa sponsorship process. You will coach participants, hosts, and our overseas partners throughout the application process and take ownership over application decisions. Finally, you will also collaborate with colleagues on the team and across the organization to ensure our participants are happy and safe and that our program doesn’t just adhere to regulations but also provides life-changing cultural exchange experiences.
What you'll do:
- Provide excellent customer service to overseas partners, prospective applicants, and host organizations and use your expertise to provide timely and helpful information
- Advise and assist applicants, hosts, and overseas partners throughout the visa sponsorship application process, while highlighting best practices to ensure success and satisfaction
- Review applications and screen and interview participants and hosts to assess their eligibility for the Career Training USA program, per Department of State regulations

Your Qualifications Include:
- Demonstrated history of administrative or detail-oriented work, either through past work experience or through personal or academic experience
- A strong motivation to proactively reach out to and coach prospective participants, host organizations, and partners and lead them to success
- Up-to-date computer skills and technological ability with a willingness to learn our proprietary software and internal communications tools, as well as external U.S. government-operated software
- Ability to work without visa sponsorship and the ability to pass pre-employment and annual criminal background checks
Where you'll be:
New York City-based. We currently offer a hybrid arrangement of 2 to 3 office days and 2 to 3 remote days, if desired. This policy is subject to change in the future.
Schedule & Hours:
35-hour work week. Business Hours M-F 9:30 am - 5:30 pm EST; one hour for lunch. Flexible start and end time options. Additional hours as needed.

Compensation:
Hourly rate: $30-31.50 per hour; approximately $55,000 to $58,000 annually
