About the Position:

Serve as the Senior Advisor and Liaison for Policy & Readiness to the Chief of Legislative Liaison with the responsibility to advise on policy and funding provisions related to all authorization legislation. The position is located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Coordinate and address all oversight committee Questions for the Record (QFRs) and Insert for the Record (IFRs) with staff following congressional hearings.
Monitor legislation as it moves through the congressional process.
Prepare senior leaders for annual testimony with regard to the agency's posture and budget requests before the House and Senate Armed Services Committees.
Serve as the authority on Congressional rules/procedures to include Congressional floor procedures.
Provide background information and advice on past agency Congressional issues.
Organize engagements/briefings for members of Congress, Congressional Committees and agency staff in support of Agency's Legislative objectives
