Job Description
In 2024, Arizona will be a premier battleground state with highly competitive races to elect Democrats at every level of the ticket. The Arizona Democratic Party is seeking Deputy Organizing Directors that will manage a team of organizing regions that will engage supporters and mobilize voters to cast their ballot for President Biden and Arizona Democrats.
Logistics:
Location: This is an in-person, full time position in Arizona for the 2024 election cycle
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until positions are filled
Driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
Benefits: Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision plan at no premium
Salary for this position is $7,000 per month for the term of employment
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Regional Organizing Directors responsible for organizing volunteers and supporters across Arizona
Coach and support Regionals to effectively manage their teams to successfully implement the organizing plan in their regions and meet metrics
Ensure staff are trained and have the skills and tools needed to be successful in their roles in collaboration with other HQ staff
Create systems that lead teams to prioritize and meet metric goals
Work with staff across the Organizing Department to create programs and ensure their implementation in regions
Create positive and focused culture that can motivate your team in a fast paced environment
Consistently meet stated deadlines and communicate with your manager when challenges arise
