As the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, you will manage two to three committees and programs that support PLASTICS’ advocacy strategies on behalf of member companies for effectively managing issues related to plastics used in food, drug, and cosmetic packaging applications. You will also assist in driving the long-term planning and implementation of strategic regulatory programs and projects. This position reports to the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs, who is committed to mentoring you in this position.
Qualified candidates offer:
- BA in polymer or packaging science/engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, toxicology, political science, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in a regulatory policy position or similar role with a government agency, plastics industry, or trade association
- Experience working with or willingness to learn committees or coalitions
