Job Description
Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) seeks enthusiastic interns for Fall 2025. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the legislative branch of government through hands-on experience.
Interns will assist the Office in achieving its goals by performing a variety of tasks. Some tasks may include: answering calls from constituents; updating databases; researching issues; drafting memos and other written documents; assisting staff on special projects; assisting staff with congressional programs; and directing constituents to appropriate resources.
Candidates for the internship program must be current undergraduate or graduate students, or recent graduates, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong interest in government and public service. The internship requires a 12-week commitment.
