Senator Bob Casey seeks a personable, organized, and dynamic team player to serve as Press Assistant in his Washington office. This person will be responsible for: compiling early morning and afternoon news clips and media monitoring, drafting press and briefing materials, and managing media contacts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, can work efficiently under tight deadlines, and can balance long- and short-term projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Strong Pennsylvania ties are preferred. The onboarding salary for this position is $52,000 annually, plus overtime where applicable.
