Our Opportunity:

Reporting to the Chief Corporate Officer, this position is responsible for developing a brand communication strategy for our Burger King and Popeyes brands in support of the Company's strategic priorities. The Head of Brand Communications provides governance and oversight of Company positioning, reputation matters and overall public relations strategy for the two brands. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Establishes overall organizational and franchisee communication strategies to produce results in alignment with business objectives and priorities of brands

Identifies and liaises with the appropriate leadership team members and departments regarding opportunities for communications to other stakeholder groups

Develops complete communication platforms and related tools, and develops measurement plans to ensure communication vehicles are meeting business objectives and the needs of our employees

Acts as point of escalation on issues that are highly sensitive in nature or have an impact of great magnitude on brand and Company reputation

Establishes strong relationships with media personnel

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations; MBA is an asset

10-15 years of experience in public relations or corporate affairs in a senior leadership role providing high level communications and public relations expertise to senior management

Experience in the consumer, retail or QSR industry is a strong asset

Strong background in issues management and brand/reputation management

Superior oral and written communication skills, presentation abilities and knowledge of communication practices including planning, implementation and measurement

Experience leading and mentoring a team

Knowledge of earned, digital and social media landscape

Strong team and project management capabilities, including consulting skills aimed at building consensus
